Top 5 reasons to book our food tours
Top 5 reasons to book this experience:
You can experience the local food culture and lively city during one great food sightseeing tour.
No need for you to take a separate sightseeing tour in the old town. Our food sightseeing tours combine sightseeing part with various food & wine & beer tasting stops (dep. on the program).
One should’n be worried about sightseeing part that much, our food tours differ definitely from the usual touristic sightseeings, though we use professional guides who also are licensed for the regular sightseeings in Estonia.
Along with local dining experience you will get the personalised guiding into the culinary and cultural world of Estonian past and nowadays. Our tours are conducted by friendly and experienced guides, and we have combined for our special food sightseeing tours in Tallinn only the best restaurants, cafés, lounges, eateries and some special venues, which represent Estonian cuisine and food culture in its wide diversity and are at same time located conveniently within walking distance from each other and from most of the hotels in the centre of Tallinn.
Tallinn Food Tour covers most of the must see sights of Tallinn Old Town – a UNESCO World Heritage site. Tour includes 1~2 entrances (depending on season). Our aim is to provide personalised food tours where during the strolls or short transfers our guides will be able to tell you also about the places & sights passed, and surroundings or/and about the general history and nowadays of Estonia – how do ordinary people live here, what Estonians think about this or that, etc.
You’ll taste typical for Estonia food and drinks, both traditional and seasonal ones. Of course the food and Estonian cuisine is the main topic for our tours. During the food tours you’ll have several food & drink stops (number of stops varies and depends on the tour theme and itinerary) and our guides will tell you about history, nowadays and future tendencies of Estonian cuisine, explain, relate and will put into concept the food & drinks tasted during the tours.
Our tour guides can adjust the tours a bit according to the nature and wishes of the clients, meaning that if you are more interested in food topic and not that much in Estonian history in general, then they will focus more on food & drinks – as one of our guests nicely summarised our tour – “It was like meeting with an old friend, who invited you out and showed you around in Tallinn, by taking you to different places to see and try out large variety of typical for Estonia food & drinks in relaxed atmosphere.”
And last but not least, we always try to live up by our motto – “It’s more than just a tour, it’s more than just a meal – it is an experience!”
