We have a pleasure to offer for you a wonderful possibility to have your private dinner party or wine degustation event held at one of the most stunning places in Tallinn Old Town - on the grounds of the historical Luscher & Matiesen Wine Factory!
More than a century old Luscher & Matiesen Wine Factory is a place full of stories and legends. The factory was closed down in 1940 due to the WWII, and was given to the new life in a form of wine store & cellar again in 2009, when at time 100 years old Dimitri Matiesen (the nephew of Paul Matiesen) paid a visit to the old factory premises on Toompea Hill and told the fascinated stories in connection to the factory, and encouraged to resurrect the former wine factory with its legends and history.

By now the new representatives of Luscher & Matiesen brand have sparked this long forgotten wine factory into life again. Along with local berry & fruit wines the L&M wine cellar offers a good selection of wines from French and Spain and their collection is expanding constantly with best wines mostly from the old Europe. Apart of its fascinating history, the Luscher & Matiesen Wine Factory is situated right on the northern corner of Toompea Hill, the Upper Old Town of Tallinn, in the building complex with 800 years of history, with its private viewing platform facing the huge part of Tallinn Lower Old Town with marvelous views also to the seaside areas and the city of Tallinn.

L&M wine cellar acts also as a Museum of the Estonian Drink Culture. The museum exhibits the history of Toompea wine and drink production by bringing you to the 100-year-old legend of the L&M wine factory.

So, if you would like to hear some stunning legends, and learn more about the history and nowadays of the Luscher & Matiesen Wine Factory, or you would just like to have your private event held in some nice & homey and not yet discovered place in Tallinn Old Town, then we’d invite you to select between below indicated dining or wine tasting options:
